Pītā Guided Meditation
for Relaxation, Sleep, & Feeling Good
In 1993 I began to combine the wisdom of Eastern philosophy and other philosophical disciplines with my
creativity (professional artist/designer) to create ‘The Creativity Progamme’, ‘Art of Empowerment’,
‘Balance in Mind’ and ‘Art & Awareness’; personal development seminars. Relaxation and guided
imagery, along with art and writing, were significant tools to the success of these seminars. It was at this
time I published my first guided meditations, which proved very popular with clients, therapists, and
teachers.
Practicing meditation and Bikram yoga for almost twenty years has, I believe, helped me uncover a
greater level of awareness, calm, and trust in my intuition. I continue to use art, breathing, chanting,
imagery, and affirmation to nurture peacefulness and inspiration within myself and my clients. All of these
activities influence my guided meditations.
My goal is to produce recordings that help the listener relax and become more aware of an inner
peacefulness. When we achieve this, I believe it’s possible for each of us to listen to our intuition and the
wisdom of our heart, thus creating greater harmony within ourselves.
